Slime A Jelly Journey is a 2D platformer in which you control a slime who can absorb his ennemies andĀ use their capacities.
Context:

This project served as my end-of-year project, which enabled me to join the video game section of the IIM Digital School. Although we had the entire year to work on it, I truly started to focus on it during the last three months.
My tasks:
-Player controler
-Game design and level design
-Absorbtion/transformation abilities
-Asset and animation integration
-Enemies and boss behaviours
-Player customisation
-Shop
-UI

Absorbtion features:

-Hovering in air
-Dash and destroy walls
-Acess to the shop
-Distance attacks (sword and missile)
-Unlock new paths
-Changing values like speed or knock back
First boss:

- 2 part
-1 body to body attack per part
-1 distance attack per part
-Unlock new capacity (missile attack)
Second boss:

-1 combo of 3 attacks
-1 big attack triggered after a full combo
-Unlock new capacity
Shop and customisation:

-The shop is available in human form only
-You can buy skins that change stats like speed or attack
-The money is obtained by absorbing monsters
