OP3FT
(Organization for the Promotion, Protection and Progress of Frogans Technology)
Context:
During my third year at IIM Digital School, I completed a six-month internship followed by a one-year apprenticeship at the OP3FT as a Unity Developer.

The technology:
Frogans is a new Internet‑publishing medium that sits on top of the Web, designed for visually‑rich, focused content and intuitive interaction.
Sites are made of “slides” in free‑form shapes, described using an XML‑based language called
FSDL.
They’re accessed with simple Frogans addresses like Network‑Name*Site‑Name and viewed via a free, cross‑platform
Frogans Player that renders consistently across all devices.

My Missions:
My primary mission was to develop proof-of-concepts using Unity around the Frogans technology. These included things like an augmented reality Frogans player, as well as a variety of authoring tools and internal utilities.
Meta Quest Frogans player:
My first mission was to develop a Unity AR Frogans player using the OP3FT libraries to render and navigate through Frogans sites.

On this proof of concept, I collaborated with another developer using the Meta Interaction SDK. I was responsible for implementing interactions on the Frogans sites, which are 3D movable objects that users can grab, resize, and interact with.
FSDL tools:
During my mission at OP3FT, I had the opportunity to work on authoring tools that leverage the OP3FT libraries to manipulate FSDL documents.

The first tool I developed is a FSDL 4.0 Slide Preview, which takes an FSDL document as input and analyzes it to extract key information such as its validity, referenced resources, and layers. It previews how it would render in Frogans Players.

The second tool I worked on is the FSDL Editor, a Unity application that allows users to author FSDL documents visually, without manually writing XML.

In addition, I contributed to smaller internal tools: for example, a validator for different document formats used by OP3FT specification writers, and an automatic Unity project builder that supports Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Vivatech:
I had the chance to participate in the 2024 and 2025 editions of VivaTech with OP3FT, showcasing the technology on the Meta Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro. It was a great opportunity to connect with people and receive direct feedback on both the technology and my work.
